Ryan Braun - Brewers likely to sign Reyes over Fielder

"Reyes is dynamic, man -- he is one of the most exciting players in the game." "He plays with a lot of energy and a lot of emotion and I enjoy watching him play. He's one of my favorite players to watch. Whenever their games are on, I love watching him, man. He always plays the game the right way. He always plays hard. He runs everything out." - Ryan Braun on Jose Reyes

I still believe the Mets will re-sign Jose Reyes this off-season. I think its probably gonna take between either $100-$120 million over 5-6 years to sign him because i cannot see Reyes in another uniform in 2012. That is not the only reason why i believe he will re-sign, its because the Mets and GM Sandy Alderson know what kind of player Reyes is, as well as what he can bring to the table. Yes we have Ruben Tejada able to fill in for Reyes if he departs but we also have Tejada their in case something happens to Reyes in the season. Yes its a risk signing him long term with the hamstring injuries but from 2005-2008 he was injury free for the most part and his hamstring wasn't an issue. I strongly believe the deal will get done and this whole thing about Jose Reyes will be over and we can look forward to this upcoming season.
