The St. Lucie Mets win the FSL Division Title at Digital Domain Park in walk-off fashion. The 4-3 victory in the 10th inning over the Bradenton Marauders was clinched in the best-of-three series. Beating the Marauders puts the Mets in the Florida State League Championship seres for the first time since 2006.

Greg Peavey who got the start for the St. Lucie Mets, threw seven solid innings, in which he only alllowed two runs on 6 hits while striking out six. Pedro Zapata led the Mets with three hits, two runs scored and an RBI. The Mets will head to Daytona to take on the Cubs for games one and two of the best of five series. Both of these teams were in the first half winners of their respective divisions. Although the Mets struggled during the regular season only winning two of the eight meetings against the Cubs, they look to rebound and take this series. St. Lucie will return home for games three, four and five if necessary at Digital Domain Park.
