Zack Wheeler Makes his Mets Minor League Debut

The Mets new No. 1 prospect Zack Wheeler made his Mets debut Monday night for Class A Advanced St. Lucie against the Dunedin Bluejays. He struggled in the 1st inning giving up three runs on four hits. He settled down in the 2nd and 3rd inning with back-to-back 1-2-3 innings. Wheeler then gave up another run in the fourth inning.

Maybe it was nerves coming over Wheeler in his debut but velocity wise he has it. I look forward to his next start and see him get his first victory with the Mets. Wheeler has a bright future ahead of him and im glad he is a New York Met.
