Dillon Gee who pitched great today allowing two runs on three hits held the Cardinals in check all game. On the other hand, Kyle Lohse continued to struggle against the Mets, allowing 10 hits, 4 runs in 5.2 innings pitched. Pagan and Murphy both hit RBI doubles to give the mets there 4-2 victory. Must have been the energy of Jose Reyes back in the line-up to spark this team to score runs and get the much needed victory. Carlos Beltran received a huge ovation in section 101 (right field reserve) to chants of CARLOS BELTAN, he turned around at the gesture and waved at the fans. Beltran went 3-for-3 today with two walks. He reached base on all five plate appearances. If this is going to be the last few days of Beltran in a Mets uniform, its been a pleasure to have him on this team.
