I like this idea of Jason Isringhausen to mentor Bobby Parnell into a closer. Isringhausen has been around the game for a long time and he has the knowledge to help teach Parnell to become a successful closer. Parnell has the blazing fastball that has reached 103MPH before. He has has a nasty slider as well. If Parnell can season his stuff and be dominate, he can be a very successful closer for the New York Mets. In Parnell's last 10 appearances, 9.2IP 9H 3ER 3BB 11K 4HLD 2.79 ERA.
