David Wright began his minor league rehab Friday, playing five innings for the Class A St. Lucie Mets and going 1-for-2 at the plate with a double, a walk and a strikeout. Wright has been on the disabled list since May 16 with a stress fracture in his lower back. Playing DH today for Port St. Lucie, Wright went 2-for-4, RBI and a walk. Wright is scheduled to make is return to the Mets line-up this friday July 22nd vs the Marlins.

Wright is 3-for-9 (.333) in 3 minor-league rehab games.
