Pelfrey's Woes Continue vs. Braves

Mets vs Braves (Game 2 Recap)
What can I say about this New York Mets team, another poor outing by Mike Pelfrey against the Braves. Pelfrey pitched 4 1/3 innings giving up 9 runs on 9 hits, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts and giving up 2 home runs to Martin Prado and Brian McCann. Was one of Pelfrey worst starts of the year since June 4th against the Pirates when he gave up 9runs on 9hits, 4 walks and 3 strikeouts and took the loss. Pelfrey is now 7-5 on the season and raise his era to 5.07.
What does this mean for the team now? With the second straight loss to the Braves, the Mets now find themselves 5 games under .500 and now 8.5 games back in the division behind the Philadelphia Phillies. Sheffield pulled up and grabbed the back of his right thigh after catching up to a double by Yunel Escobar in the fifth inning. What look like another player heading to the DL, good news came that it was just cramps in his leg. But judging by the look of this 11-0 blowout of the Mets, help cannot come any faster. This team needs a miracle to help them win and a trade would be likely in order to help this team win.
With so many holes in the Mets roster, would a trade help? What can Minaya do now to help this team contend this yr? Can the Mets make it a miracle season like 1969? What about 1973? Will the Mets contend or fail this year? These are the question many Mets fans would like to know.
