Pelfrey looked good against the Reds going seven strong innings giving up only three runs, walking two and striking out four. Pelfrey takes the hill tonight against the Braves who have done some damage against him in seven career starts. Pelfrey is 2-3 with a 5.08 era in 44.1 innings pitched against the Braves. He looks to redeem himself and pitch a good game for the Mets. Pelfrey will be paired up against Atlanta's raising star Jair Jurrjens who is 7-7 with a 2.91 era on the season.
