Good to hear Ike Davis does not need to require ankle surgery. He has trained two weeks and was pain-free. He will have two more days of activity and then he will rest for a month according to Adam Rubin. Also According to Adam Rubin, Chris Schwinden, Valentino Pascucci and Mike Baxter are in fact joining the Mets 40-man roster.

Valentino Pascucci's last major league game came on October 3rd, 2004, against the Mets at Shea Stadium, in which he was a memeber of the Montreal Expos. He started in Right Field and went 3-for-4 with a single and a double off of Tom Glavine and then another single against Heath Bell.
