The New York Mets and free agent closer Frank Francisco have agreed on a 2-year $12 million contract. Francisco went 1-4 with a 3.55 ERA and had 17 saves in 54 appearances for the Toronto Blue Jays last season. He also allowed 7 home runs, 18 walks, 49 hits and 4 blown saves in 50 2/3 innings.
