After a thrilling come from behind win for the Mets last night, trailing 8-6 going into the 9th inning, they look to Chris Capuano to extend their winning streak and move a game over .500. Lucas Duda's walk-off 2-run RBI single sealed the comeback in a 9-8 win. The Mets chances to reach the playoffs may be slim, but Terry Collin's ball club isn't giving up. New York is nine games back of wild card-leading Atlanta and is missing there top two hitters in Jose Reyes and Daniel Murphy, both went on the DL on Monday.

“We’re not conceding anything,” said David Wright, who is hitting .368 with 3 HRs and 18 RBIs in 16 games since missing two months with a back problem. “There are a lot of games left. Crazier things have happened.”

Jason Bay has taken to account the message manager Terry Collins has been preaching to the club, He’s hitting .447 with three homers and nine RBIs during a 10-game hitting streak. “It really is going to take everybody,” said Bay, one of three Mets to homer Monday. Justin Turner, David Wright and Lucas Duda were credited with seven hits and five runs for the Mets in which they scored 3-runs off of All-Star closer Heath Bell, giving him his 3rd blow save of the season.
