Isringhausen hasn't ruled out pitching next year: “I’m not coming back for 500 grand again – I know that," he said.
Jason Isringhausen yesterday said he will wait until this season ends to weigh the pros and cons of attempting to pitch in 2012. The 38-year-old Isringhausen on Monday became the 23rd pitcher with at least 300 career saves.
"If I feel healthy, I'll have my agent talk to some people and see what kind of interest is out there," Isringhausen said before the Mets beat the Padres 7-3. "I'm not coming back for 500 grand again, I know that. But in the same sense I knew coming in, this year wasn't really about the money.
Jason Isringhausen on the season:

- 41.2 innings pitched
- 3-2 Record
