Clay Hensley 0-2, 3.60 ERA |
Chris Capunao 8-8, 4.12 ERA |
The Mets and Marlins will play each other seven times over the next 17 days, beginning with a makeup game tonight at Citi Field. Ask if the Mets mentality would change playing one game verse the Marlins, manager Terry Collins said, "Just win. It doesn't change. You go back to when we played them before," Collins said. "If you add that game onto the series, it decides who wins or loses the series. We've got to come out today and just approach it as another game." Mets begin a rough stretch of games over the next two weeks, playing 3 games home verse the St. Louis Cardinals then a 10-game road tripe against the Marlins, Reds and Nationals. Mets are currently 47-47 (.500) on the season 12 games back in the division and 8.5 games back in the wildcard.
