Yesterday Mets scouts went to see the Gwinnett Braves play the Louisville Bats. The one person in particular they were going to see was LHP Mike Minor's start. Minor pitched 6 innings giving up 10 hits, 6 runs which 3 of them were earned with 4 strikeouts. I dunno if thats the start the Mets were hoping for when they scouted Minor but being a young Left handed pitcher with good stuff could be the reason for wanting this type of player. Minor is only 23 years old.
Key Notes:
- 14 starts with the Gwinnett Braves, 3-4, 3.18 ERA
- 87.2IP 83H 10HR 24BB 84K .252BAA (AAA)
- 6 starts with the Atlanta Braves 1-2, 4.59 ERA
- 33.1IP 38H 0HR 15BB 26K .290BAA (MLB)
