The Mets begin there 10-game road stand with the Florida Marlins at Sun Life Stadium. Mike Pelfrey takes the hill today for the amazins who looked good in his last start vs Florida. On May 16th, Pelfrey pitched seven innings against the Marlins, giving up 6 hits and surrendering 1 run on a solo homerun by Mike Stanton. Pelfrey in his career verse Florida has been dreadful to say the least, but tonight the Mets look to beging a new winning streak by beating the Marlins.

The Mets are currently 12.5 back in the division and 9.5 games back in the wild card race. Tonight David Wright joins the line-up after being on the DL since May 15th with  a stress fracture in his lower back. He was 10-for-21 in a six-game rehab games with Class-A St. Lucie. Also Wright has a .463BA with 5 HRs and 11 RBIs in his last 13 meetings with the Marlins.
