I highly doubt the Mets would make a trade with the Phillies in this case, the likely destination for Beltran in my Opinion can be the Giants or Redsox. But then again I could be wrong if the Mets feel that there isn't the right package to deal away Carlos. Currently the Mets are asking for a Grade A-type Prospect and teams may hesitate to pull the trigger on that. We shall see with 2 weeks to go until the trade deadline.
